Your "Global" Index Fund is just a Closet US Fund

Happy Monday, wealthy people! 

“Just buy an index fund” is the advice you keep hearing online.

When you ask which of the 10,000+ index funds you should buy, the experts point out mainly one type: a Global Index Fund.

A stock fund that invests globally, so you presumably get the maximum possible diversification in one easy step. Emphasis on presumably.

But global indexes have become unreasonably concentrated in one country and now have more than 72% weight in the United States! Thus, investors must rethink how they use these funds. They are not a one-stop solution.
